It seems like there's a new announcement every week: Actresses, reality stars and (especially) models are announcing their impending baby bumps left and right.
We take a look at who's currently expecting, why they made our hot list and jump to unsubstantiated conclusions about what kind of mothers they'll be.
ADRIANA LIMA
The Brazilian bombshell and Victoria's Secret Angel has repeatedly been dubbed one of the sexiest woman alive, and we have no argument there. Lima announced her pregnancy shortly after marrying Serbian basketball player Marko Jaric in a private civil ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyoming on Valentine's Day.
Due to her successful modeling career, she's also worldy and speaks at least three languages, offering a broad world view to her future baby.
HEIDI KLUM
No need to explain why someone nicknamed "The Body" is one of our picks. With each of her previous pregnancies, she develops a basketball bump, while the rest of her body remains enviable.
And this supermodel mom doesn't let pregnancy deter her from keeping up with her career (Project Runway, anyone?) or her personal style, which is just as fashion-forward and classy as when she's not with child. In fact, the only difference is the presence of a bump. She's expecting her fourth bundle of joy -- her third with hubby Seal -- so motherhood is old hat to her by this point.
KAROLINA KURKOVA
Is there something in the water at Victoria's Secret headquarters? Kurkova joins the Supermodel Moms Club as the latest Angel to announce her impending baby bump. At this rate, this year's Victoria's Secret fashion show is going to have to promote maternity wear instead of lingerie.
Kurkova, who is now an actress as well as a model, is expecting her first child with fiance Archie Drury, a film producer. She stars in next month's G.I. Joe alongside newlywed Channing Tatum, so maybe she'll be able to score some cool promotional gear for the kid.
GISELE BUNDCHEN
Again, when a supermodel gets pregnant, there's no denying the physical hotness.
But Bundchen is probably a little more prepared to be a first time mom, as she's cared for her three dogs as well as hubby Tom Brady's son from a previous relationship.
Her nurturing spirit has also led her into numerous charitable endeavors, and if her fellow supermodel mommies-to-be are any indication, she'll retain her stellar style throughout her 40 weeks.
SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR
SMG is gorgeous, talented, successful and enjoys a stable, years-long relationship with husband Freddie Prinze, Jr.
We have high hopes for her parenting skills, as she reportedly has a large collection of classic children's literature, (prepared to nurture a child's brain and creativity!), and she isn't the kind of celeb that's clamoring to be in the spotlight every second of the day, so the kid will hopefully have a well-adjusted childhood.
Besides, she was the original vampire slayer, before the fanged creatures were an insane pop culture phenomenon. Now, that's hot.
KENDRA WILKINSON
After being one of Hef's girlfriends for years, Kendra has become a bonafide celeb on her own, boasting her own reality show on E! And hopefully, now that Kendra is married to her baby's daddy, Hank Baskett, she'll have some help preparing for baby. Considering her first purchase for her new home was a stripper pole vs. groceries or furniture, we could totally see her buying a toddler's Playboy pedal car before a car seat or diapers.
Should Kendra choose to breast feed, we're sure she'll have no qualms about doing so in public. We've already seen her breasts a thousand times, and not for nourishment purposes.
ELLEN POMPEO
As the title character on Grey's Anatomy, one of TV's hottest shows, many eyes are on Ellen Pompeo's growing baby bump.
Her breezy pregnancy style has been cute, stylish and appropriate, ranging from a black maxi-dress to white skinny jeans with a roomy tunic tank top, and jeans with a blousy white tank top.
She looks happy and natural, and while she's definitely a star, she seems to live a pretty low-key life otherwise. If tabloid fodder consists of her making runs to Whole Foods and Starbucks, her child should be in the clear.
NICOLE RICHIE
Nicole Richie has come a long way. After her previous problems with drugs, possible anorexia and general disregard for her personal health, much of the world let out a collective groan when Richie announced her first pregnancy with boyfriend Joel Madden. But the actress seems to have really taken to motherhood, trading in her tabloid drug and anorexia headlines for stories of her very sweet child-rearing experiences.
She's rarely seen without her daughter Harlow, and we think a devoted celebrity mom is about as hot as it gets. And being able to keep up her trademark boho-chic style throughout her second pregnancy doesn't hurt, either.
CAMILA ALVES
Expecting her second child with beau/shirtless wonder, Matthew McConaughey, model Alves is probably more famous for being his girlfriend than for anything else. Still, she's beautiful and the two seem to have a solid relationship, announcing their impending second child less than a year after their first son, Levi, was born.
TERESA GIUDICE
Teresa -- with her maple-syrup-colored skin and two-inch-tall forehead -- makes our hot mom list in the figurative sense. After a crazed temper tantrum and stage mom antics, she's definitely been in the Real Housewives of New Jersey spotlight, making the cover of several recent tabloids.
She's certainly got enough money for a fourth child, and to buy fabulous designer clothes to cover her bump. But we expect her to raise yet another bratty child with a sense of entitlement.
And if they have any special talent -- real or imagined -- watch out! Teresa will shove them into showbiz faster than she overturned that dinner table in the Housewives finale.
