How cute was The Hills tonight? I was almost able to forget that Brody Jenner's interest in Lauren stems entirely from his desire to be on a television show. He was that cute.

To give you guys a summary, Lauren meets male model Gavin at a Teen Vogue casting call. He's not that hot as far as male models go. He's kind of baby-faced, and he's got that innocent, ultra-nice-guy vibe about him that the entire country knows by now is not Lauren's type. Seriously, you can practically hear the whole country groaning when he asks her out, and then Brody, Lo and Audrina each take turns relaying the nation's concerns to LC after they meet Gavin. Lauren thinks Brody is jealous. Of course, Brody is jealous. But this guy is never going to do enough cocaine to win the head banded heart of Lauren Conrad. We all know that.

The date goes predictably poorly, although both Sean Kingston and Blackberry get total non sequitur plugs. (You gotta love that.) Lauren seems upset that he ordered a salmon roll after she specifically told him she didn't like salmon. In fairness, that's not the only thing he ordered. But Lauren's still disgruntled. Gavin's a good guy. He's just 100% personality-free.

When she gets home from the date, she calls -- guess who? -- Brody Jenner, to tell him she's home and going to watch a movie. Brody says he might come over to watch with her. "What movie is it?" he asks. And Lauren says -- and this is why the whole country fell in love with Lauren -- "Does it really matter?" Brody laughs. "Guess not." They're so having sex tonight.

Meanwhile, there's a bunch of stuff happening with Spencer and Heidi, mainly because Heidi has a real job and Spencer's job is promoting Spencer and planting sex tape rumors. "I'll be at work. Why don't you try it?" she spits out, when he gets upset that she can't have dinner with him. But I'm not going to spend much time talking about Spencer and Heidi, because I'm ready for this whole subplot to be over and these two to be gone from my life. Although it's possible I prefer this to the Audrina/Justin-Bobby storyline. What about Lo? Does she ever date? I wanna see more Lo! I love that girl.

But next week promises more of a Whitney-bombs-on-the-job storyline, and I do so love those! See you all then!
