Each December, nearly every TV show makes the most of the holidays, using the season to put their characters through all sorts of shenanigans. Meanwhile, Halloween -- a holiday known for tomfoolery and costume -- goes largely unnoticed. Blasphemy!

But you will not see such indifference from us. Halloween is our favorite holiday, and we spend a great deal of time thinking about costumes. So we've taken matters into our own hands, and assigned Halloween costumes to some notable TV characters. From here, feel free to choose your own corresponding plot.

Kendra Wilkinson (Kendra): Troll Doll
Kendra is far enough along in her pregnancy to have a belly, so a Troll doll suits all her needs. We all know she isn't shy about being naked, so this would afford her the appearance of nudity while being fully covered. Supplies: A flesh colored bodysuit; a permanent marker with which to draw on a bellybutton; and a can of brightly-colored hairspray to create the trademark standing-on-end hairdo.

Dexter Morgan (Dexter): Serial killer
What's that you say? That this isn't a Halloween costume for Dex? True, but nobody else knows that besides him. And it's not like he doesn't already have the supplies.

Bill Henrickson (Big Love): Priest
Oh, the irony. This is a tried-and-true costume idea, but Mormon polgymist Bill Henrickson could really punch it up by posing as a man of the cloth and entering the party with his three real-life wives. It's wrong in so many ways, but since Bill probably doesn't get down with Halloween, it doesn't matter anyway.

Betty Suarez (Ugly Betty): Prom Queen
Creators of this show have said that they'll never have Betty get a makeover and discover her outer beauty. And that's fine with us. However, dressing as a prom queen would let Betty explore her glamorous side and then decide that she likes her original self better, which would not compromise the integrity of the show. (Of course, we'd expect her to choose a totally outdated, puff-sleeved dress and not quite get it right, anyway.)

Ray Drecker (Hung): Ron Jeremy
Do you really need elaboration?

Tim Gunn (Project Runway): Bret Michaels
We chose this pairing for no other reason than they were the most polar opposites we could think of. Can you imagine the dapper Tim Gunn lowering a scraggly wig-and-bandanna set onto his head, and slipping on a pair of jeans through which you could read his pulse? We know you'd never do it, Tim, but nobody would ever see it coming.

Stefan Salvatore (The Vampire Diaries): Edward Cullen
We think it'd be great if this teenage (in looks, not age) vampire from paid homage to his teenage (in looks, not age) predecessor from Twilight. Both handsome fellas make the girls swoon, they try not to feast on humans and have raven-haired human girlfriends that have captured their non-beating hearts. And surely, it'd be a relief for Stefan to let fangs hang loose for a day.

Michael Scott (the Office): Peter Gibbons from Office Space
Michael would probably think dressing up as the ultimate slacker was clever and ironic since he's a boss. But could anything be a more appropriate costume for this lazy dweeb? Supplies: Shorts, flip-flops, Hawaiian shirt, Cheetos, TPS reports and a Geto Boys CD. Bonus points if Dwight goes as Lumbergh, and follows him around with a coffee mug, asking him to work weekends.
