Synopsis
In this heartwarming tale, a grandfather shares the story of St. Nick with his grandchildren. Grandpa Nicholas (James Earl Jones) recounts how St. Nick (Hume Cronyn), a bishop who brought the Old World tradition of gift giving to the New World, ends up in jail after the Spanish government arrests him on suspicions of being a spy. There he meets a kindhearted cook named Pete (Flex Alexander), who risks everything to free St. Nick so that he can continue to spread yuletide cheer. Pete is rewarded for his good deed, and the pair team up to bring the tradition of sharing to the New World.
