Frank Langella Stars As Richard Nixon

Richard M. Nixon on Broadway _ played by Frank Langella.

"Frost/Nixon," Peter Morgan's drama based on a 1977 TV interview between the disgraced American president and British talk-show host David Frost, will open April 22 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre. Previews for the 20-week limited engagement begin March 31.

The play is currently running in London through Feb. 3 with Langella and Michael Sheen, who portrays Frost. Sheen will also appear in the New York production, which will be directed by Michael Grandage.

Morgan received an Academy Award nomination Monday for best original screenplay for his work on "The Queen," the movie starring Helen Mirren as Elizabeth II. Last week, he won a Golden Globe for his "Queen" screenplay.
