I was posed the question earlier as to which five actors I would most like to see go away. I took this assignment seriously and discounted people I still have some hope for (please, please don't let me down Mr. Cage). Below are the victims who got the axe.

Cuba Gooding Jr.
This guy had so much promise. He really was so good early on. Then he won the Oscar and Cuba went completely bonkers. The kids movies are just painful. Hey, you get a pass every now and again for wanting to appeal to other audiences. But it's gotten to the point where you just can't take him seriously anymore. I don't see Daddy Day Camp as a candidate for redemption. And if I see him bug his eyes for comic effect one more time I'm going to commit mass murder.

Paris Hilton
I may be giving Hilton too much credit here. I don't know if she can be credibly labeled an "actor" unless you're counting that Larry King interview. But according to IMDB she's got two more projects on the table so there you go. This pick was for you, America.

Lindsay Lohan
Lohan is a pretty good actress who just needs to stay far, far away from Hollywood. I'm thinking Siberia. Maybe, maybe she can do some theater work in London. But maybe Lohan isn't the problem. Maybe she just needs to be physically separated from her mother. Is there a surgeon in the house?

Robin Williams
Hey, I used to be just like you. I used to love his wacky antics too. But we've grown apart. The Elmer Fudd impressions got old. Yes, Williams broke a leg or two and got stuck on crutches. I still like him in his more serious roles like One Hour Photo or Insomnia. But even when he gets serious these days he's in stinkers.

Anthony Anderson
Another guy I used to like. I thought he was funny early on in movies like Me, Myself and Irene. But he's gotten so one note of late and it's just gotten on my nerves. How many times can you shout something that ends in "Woman!" and expect us to laugh? This has been brewing for a while and when he went the more serious route in The Departed last year, I thought maybe we were on our way to respectability. But after his brief "comic" stint in Transformers, I can't take it anymore. He's gone!
