Things certainly have been interesting in the Big Brother 9 house since Josh and Sharon won Head of Household. I expected some kind of fireworks between Josh and Allison because he was ready to go off on her Tuesday night, but what I got exceeded my expectations. I knew this group was going to be entertaining.

Not even five minutes after the feeds returned after the East Coast airing of the show, we see the aftermath of some kind of altercation between the two. Allison is crying, wailing actually, that Josh threatened to slit her throat and that he called her all sorts of bad names. She specifically mentioned the c-word that I find so offensive.

She threatens to walk out, to sue Josh, to have her father and brother hurt him, etc. She badmouths all the males in the house for not confronting Joshuah about it. I guess she forgot that no one ran to Amanda’s aid when he did the same thing to her. She repeats her story with various embellishments to whoever will listen. She’s finally called to the Diary Room.

Chelsia warns both Joshuah and Sharon to be careful that he not touch her. She’s concerned that Allison will attempt to get Joshuah thrown out of the house for physically assaulting her. Joshuah repeats that he did not threaten her, nor did he touch her. Right after Allison leaves the Diary Room, Joshuah is called in.

He receives his first reprimand of the night from Big Brother and is told that she requested that he stay five feet away from her at all times. She supposedly feels physically threatened by him. Yes, I said his first of the night.

He continued the childish assault on her by sticking her key up his behind (ick) and by writing nasty things about her on her cup and bowl with fingernail polish. Big Brother made him wash the key and he had to take the bowl and cup into the storage room.

Allison just did not have a good night. She also had a blowout with her partner, Ryan, after the other houseguests began calling her out on all her lies and manipulations and he didn’t jump in and defend her. It seems that Ryan didn’t know the whole story of the Lesbian Alliance, but found out last night.

She pulled out all the stops in reminding people of their obligations to her. She reminded Matt and Natalie numerous times that they would be out of the house if it weren’t for her. Matt finally asked her how many times she was going to throw it in his face. When she told Ryan that he is only in the house because of her, he was quick to correct her. I thought there was a breakthrough and that Ryan was growing a spine and finally saw his partner for what she was, but by the end of the night, they’d made up.

So I guess it’s pretty obvious that Josh and Sharon will nominate Allison and Ryan this week. But who will they put up against them? That can be a little bit tricky. Josh and Sharon are trying to protect James and Chelsia and that might not be possible. Ryan seems to have an alliance with Adam and Allison has one with Matt. They’ve both said that if they are not nominated and get to play for Veto and win, that they would take Allison and Ryan off the block. That would leave Josh and Sharon no choice but to put up James and Chelsia … and they’d go.

Should they attempt to backdoor them? That could backfire, too, but seems to be the safest route, I think. It looks as if the little boys' club could lose a member this week. I don’t think Matt and Natalie will go home unless Ryan and Allison somehow win the Veto, and that’s only if James and Chelsia stay off the block.

This is going to be a very interesting week. It’s sure started off with a bang. It looks like Allison will be the designated scapegoat for everything. Someone has to take Amanda’s place since she’s gone.

And what about the little bombshell that Julie Chen dropped on us at the end of the show? On Wednesday night, the evicted houseguests will get a surprise and a new chapter of Big Brother 9 will begin. My guess is that at least one of the previously evicted houseguests will return and that they will split up the partners.

What do you think? Leave a comment or send an email. Let’s see how close we come next Wednesday. Catch y’all later.
