The CW To TV Writers: 9021-No!

The network keeps 90210 under wraps by refusing to send screeners to critics.

I guess I can stop waiting for my 90210 screener to arrive in the mail, because all I got was an e-mail from The CW saying (and I'm paraphrasing here) sorry, suckers:

"The CW and our studio partner CBS Paramount Network Television have made the strategic marketing decision not to screen 90210 for any media in advance of its premiere. We're not hiding anything ... simply keeping a lid on 90210 until 9/02, riding the curiosity and anticipation into premiere night, and letting all our constituents see it at the same time."

Of course, that hasn't stopped all kinds of spoilers from leaking on the Internet, including the most recent news from E!'s Kristin Dos Santos, who reports that Kelly Taylor and Brenda Walsh will be living together in the pilot. Stop the presses!

The former frienemies reportedly share many scenes together in the four episodes in which Shannen Doherty is expected to reprise her role as Brenda. That's because Kelly is the one who gets Brenda back to West Beverly High by inviting her to direct the school musical -- and offers her friend a place to crash while she's in town.

Not to worry, they won't keep the peace for long. Rumor also has it they'll soon be tussling over the same guy. And 90210 fans wouldn't have it any other way.
