5. 3:10 to Yuma
Prediction: $4.3m
Just to put things in perspective $4.3m would get you 15th place on some weekends. And yet here Yuma is grabbing 5th with that paltry figure. So you see why it's tough to get too excited about this weekend, at least in a financial sense.

4. Good Luck Chuck
Prediction: $6.6m
But I have good news too. We're almost through the down season. Plus there is a movie extremely worthy of some box office love further down the list. And Good Luck Chuck still sits at a healthy three percent on Rotten Tomatoes. Nice!

3. Resident Evil: Extinction
Prediction: $11.7m
I have to admire the fervor of horror fans. Every time I even mention Resident Evil the article gets recommended. Let that be a lesson Hollywood, you've got an audience that wants more.

2. Game Plan
Prediction: $16.3m
Not here you don't though. Wow, does this look just brutal. But it is a "family" film. However, if I ran a family I wouldn't subject them to this. Better to stay home and read, or perhaps watch real football players instead.

1. The Kingdom
Prediction: $23.7m
This is a fantastic movie that you should try and catch. It's intense, and it doesn't always give you the easy answer. But it's definitely one of the better efforts of the year. Let's all make a pact to see it and meet back here on Monday.
