Boring Week or the Beginning of the End?

When Adam first won Head of Household on Big Brother 9 last week, I groaned and said to myself that it was going to be another boring week with Team Natalie gloating and bashing and Sheila running off at the mouth. I could already predict the nominees for eviction and figured that I’d get more sleep this week because I wouldn’t have any reason to stay awake and watch the feeds.

James and Sharon will be nominated. Of that I have no doubt. James is the target. He has to win the Power of Veto competition or he’ll be evicted next Wednesday night. He knows that, I know that, we all know that. Same song, different verse, week four.

Once I thought about it, though, I realized that this could end up being a very interesting week. How, you ask? Well, it all depends on Friday. Should James win his fourth PoV, all bets are off. That’s when things will get fun.

Baller will have to grow a set … real fast. Who would he put up in James’ place? Who will be the sacrificial lamb out of Natalie’s little group? He won’t put Sheila up. He couldn’t protect her, and he has that couples' alliance thing still going with her. If he were to put her up, she’d be gone. James would vote to keep Sharon and Ryan doesn’t like Sheila, so he could be easily convinced to keep Sharon, too. Two votes is all it will take this week.

So does he break his "Bros" alliance with Ryan, and put him up? I think Ryan would be gone, too. James will vote against him in a New York minute and Sheila would keep her girl power alliance and vote against him, too.

That leaves Queen Natalie. Would he dare put her up? She might stand the best chance of staying against Sharon, but no guarantees. Again, James could vote to keep Sharon, and I think they could convince Sheila or Ryan to vote to evict Natalie and get rid of at least one strong player.

Like I said, this is all speculation. And it all depends on James winning the veto on Friday. It’s not likely, but it’s been fun to think about. We'll have to see how it all plays out.
