Movies This Weekend That Might Interest You
It's the slowest weekend of the year (note: completely unsubstantiated). I moderately recommend Zack and Miri Make a Porno. But I won't hold it against you if you're saving your money for Quantum of Solace. Next weekend Role Models could also be a sneaky hit. It's a funny film.

What I Watched Last Night Besides a Movie
Went to a play actually. The Drowsy Chaperone. Quite good. Sort of like Synecdoche in that it presented a reality within a reality. Very funny, and evidently it's won Tony Awards too. Did you know that The Tony Awards were named after Tony Danza? No? Oh. That's because they weren't.

In other musical news, I am torn as to whether I see Lion King. On one hand, it's quite expensive. On the other, I already know all the songs. I'll keep you updated on this riveting decision.

Deep Thought of the Day
I can't wait until the election is over. Though I'm a political junkie I find myself tired of all the platitudes as we near the finish. It will be nice to see ads about deodorant and cars again.
