Hey y'all, it's been a very interesting couple of days. Alex and Amanda were evicted, Joshuah and Sharon became the new Heads of Household, and there was a major blowup between Joshuah and Allison. How does this affect the power rankings?

Allison went from a major strategic player to a pitiful character in a matter of hours. I'm still not quite sure whether she was really shaken by Joshuah's diatribe or if it was an act that misfired on her. I'm leaning towards the latter, though. Especially after Joshuah informed her that Big Brother reviewed the tapes and he never threatened her.

She was called out on all sorts of lies last night, but seems to have managed to rebound somewhat today. At least, I think so. It's hard to tell with this group because they are all pretty decent back-stabbers and liars. But, hey, that's a good thing in this game, isn't it?

Because Allison managed to tick off the Head of Household the night before nominations, she and her partner, Ryan, fall to the bottom of the Power Rankings this week. As of this moment, all of the other houseguests have agreed with Joshuah and Sharon that they are the targets. That may change, but for now, Allison and Ryan are on the hot seat.

Next, in the rankings, are Matt and Natalie. They are the other couple nominated for eviction this week. Allison has repeatedly told them that they owe her. Matt has promised to have her back. I think this is one reason they are nominated. People are concerned/curious about the alliance between Allison and Matt. If they win the veto again, they will have to save themselves and not Allison.

Sheila and Adam are smack in the middle again. They've managed to go from the couple most expected to be gone first, to as someone said last night, “the second most stable team in the house." That's scary, isn't it? They might be in a little trouble this week, though. They are tapped to go on the block if one of the nominated couples wins veto and takes themselves off.

One scenario has Sheila and Adam in an alliance with Ryan and Allison, and Matt and Natalie to get James and Chelsia out this week. This can happen if they win the veto and remove Ryan and Allison. Joshuah and Sharon would have no choice but to put up James and Chelsia. If that happens, James and Chelsia will be gone by a vote of 2-0.

Speaking of James and Chelsia, they have swapped places with Joshuah and Sharon in the rankings this week. They have slipped to a shaky number two. Joshuah and Sharon have done what they could to protect them, but there is that one scenario that could see them saying goodbye.

Top dogs this week? Joshuah and Sharon, of course. They had a very impressive Head of Household victory to grab the power. They are truly the only safe couple. Joshuah's antics, however, have put a target on the couple. He was really ugly after the competition Wednesday night, even worse than he was towards Amanda. Sharon kept urging him to tone it down, she realized it was too much.

So my Power Rankings for this week are:
5. Allison and Ryan
4. Natalie and Matt
3. Sheila and Adam
2. Chelsia and James

And the Power Couple of the week is:
1. Sharon and Joshuah

Next week's rankings should be interesting. In part because we can only guess at the changes hinted at by Julie Chen. Will someone come back? Will the couples be split? A few people around the Net have figured out that, in order to go until April 29th, three people will have to come back in and individual play will have to start. Why April 29th? Because CBS is running a contest to win a trip to the finale and in the rules it says that the tentative date for the finale is April 29th. Go here to enter.

It should be a good week on the feeds! Stay tuned.
