Big Brother 9: Raciest Moments in Big Brother History
Big Brother 9: Rewind the raciest moments in Big Brother History
CBS
Have you noticed anything about the cast this year? Yet again several of them seem more than willing to ‘hook up’ in the house. Problem is when you get down to it, it hasn’t really happened much over the last seven years. Even Julie Chen seems to be in on the innuendo to a certain extent, when on Letterman she gave a bit of a wink and a nod to Dave when sex in the house was discussed. Let me set the record straight on that issue based on my memory of the last seven seasons of Big Brother by listing the ‘raciest’ things I can remember happening each season. Season 1: Britt and Josh was the big romance and everyone flipped out when they kissed (or did they?) one night. A total bust of a season if you wanted a ’sex’ angle. Season 2: Will and Shannon were the couple to watch and though they did kiss a few times, there never seemed to be anything over the top. Mike and Krista also had some romance (but no sex) going on, so much that Mike proposed after the show, alas the marriage never happened. Season 3: Lisa and Eric - they seemed to be so hung up on each other. There were many late night make-out sessions but again, nothing more than that that we know of. Season 4: FINALLY! David and Amanda. There is no denying this one - they both knew Amanda was going to be leaving and were given the “HoH” room as a gift one night. They took advantage of it but when push came to shove, Big Brother cut the feeds for 20 minutes once things really began to heat up. Allison flirted with some of the guys but nothing really ever came of it. Season 5: Drew and Diane. Kissin? I think I recall some, but again, that was about it. Maybe the raciest part of that season was the truth or dare sessions that had Karen and Diane kissing (if memory serves). Oh and Holly and Jase, but that was more of a comical romance than anything. Season 6: Janelle and Michael? I think they may have kissed but I could be wrong. James and Sarah were already a couple, and they did kiss but nothing more. The biggest story of that season was Howie using the pool box for other than its intended purpose so he could have some privacy). Season 7: Will and Janell? Showmance. Erika and Mike? Rumors have it that it was a bit of a romance before the show began, and they certainly had some fun in the house, but again, there was nothing that was more than PG that went on between the two. Howie did introduce Mike to the wonders of the pool box, but they both partook separately (ewwww). Season 8: Lastly…. Season 8, Daniele and Nick, Eric and Jessica. Neither couple did more than kiss from what was seen on the live feeds, sorry! And there you have it. Will this season’s cast come anywhere close to the Dave and Amanda situation from BB4? It sure seems like the producers want something to happen. But even if it does, I don’t think we, the viewer, will see much more than the Big Brother screen saver when things really heat up.
