Big Brother 9: Cabin Fever?

The new Big Brother house may just be a sight for sore eyes.

Hmmmm. RealityBBQ has some info on the Big Brother house for this ninth season.

The house is extremely colourful - so colourful that it might take us time to get used to.

As long as they don't have those stupid yellow plastic chairs at the kitchen table I'm fine with it. I don't know why, but for some reason I hated looking at those things.

The living room and kitchen are decorated like a winter cabin "on crack" - logs and stones, like the wallpaper on the third level during BB8 - to match the winter season. They even have that basementesque white birch mural paper up in the Diary Room! Ick. The living room also sports a circular couch for the big happy HG family.

Yeah, that birch mural on the upper level was fugly. I can't imagine it will be nice in the DR. I figured they would change that cool looking plush in the DR but to that? Eeeks!

The third level is no longer the log wallpaper and is bookshelf wallpaper. I sense themes... everywhere.

Sounds like it could be the same wallpaper that was used in the hallway to the DR.

The HoH room has a surfer theme - gnarly, dude! The other bedrooms have low walls which divide up a little bit of individual space for the HG - great idea! One room has a nautical them! Fun.

A surfer theme for the HOH room sounds cool but it doesn't seem to really fit for a winter edition -- especially considering how the rest of the house seems to be outfitted. I wonder if that's the theme they had planned for the summer edition but couldn't come up with something new so soon. Same thing goes for the nautical theme in one of the bedrooms.

The backyard now sports a firepit to keep the HG warm on the frosty winter nights. The pool is also heated now! Woohoo for a firepit! And an even bigger woohoo for a heated pool. Watch the heater break though in the first week. LOL

What do you think about these tidbits about the house so far?
