Hey y'all, tonight was a big night for Kevin. He was the star of the show. From his Power of Veto win, to his negotiations, to his on the spot eviction, he should have been wearing the crown.

CBS did some nifty editing to make us think that he really thought about going against Natalie, but in the end, he caved to her wishes and evicted Michele. Granted, it's not all one sided. Kevin thinks that he stands a better chance of winning the final Head of Household competition against Jordan.

Part one of that final HoH was also begun on the show. The three remaining houseguest have to balance on a rolling log while holding on to a large Head of Household key. Of course it can't be that simple, and as the show went off, it began to rain on them. They will supposedly experience all four seasons on the log.

7:33 BBT - Someone turned on the leaf blower, dirt and mud and then more rain
7:44 BBT - Log abruptly stops and they almost fall off, then more rain
8:00 BBT - All three still on, log reversing directions periodically
8:10 BBT - Season changed to winter with snow and ice
8:30 BBT - The past 15 minutes or so have been pretty tough. Log moving faster, changing directions on a dime, and ice and snow. I think it's spring now, though, with spring showers.
9:00 BBT - All three still on the log. I think it's still spring, because of the rain, but ...
9:20 BBT - I think I missed summer. All three houseguests still on the log and it's fall again with the leaves and leaf blower. Oh, and a first for me ... Nat breaks out candy from her hoodie and Kevin pulls out a power bar to share
10:00 BBT - All three still up there. Lots of chatter on Twitter about dq'ing Kevin and Natalie for perceived cheating. At one point Natalie was only holding the rope above her key and Kevin's facing partially to the right instead of straight ahead.
10:15 BBT - All three hanging in there. Jordan wants to play rock, paper, scissors to see who drops.
10:28 BBT - Jordan falls
10:53 BBT - After putting on a show for Jordan, Natalie jumps off. Kevin is the winner of Part 1.

This was a pretty tough competition. I was impressed at how long Jordan hung in there between the log and the precipitation. Kevin, as the winner of part 1, doesn't have to participate in part 2 later Wednesday. Natalie and Jordan battle for part 2 and the winner of part 2 will take on Kevin in part 3 for the final and most important Head of Household. Catch y'all later.
