Here we are, the eight best performances of the '00s. The Ledger-Bardem bracket was the only one that went to form, and only two double-digit seedings remain. In a strange anomaly three six seeds remain. My theory? They were the top rated seeds that didn't win an Academy Award, films that made huge box office splashes, translating to plenty of people who enjoyed (and will vote for) the performance.

Robert Downey Jr. will finally have to face himself. Do people prefer his Iron Man or Tropic Thunder? The good news is he's guaranteed a crack at the final four. Ian McKellen finally succumbed, leaving only one Lord of the Rings performance left on the board. Daniel Craig's Casino Royale hasn't been winning big - but it has been winning. But his opponent, giant killer Sacha Baron Cohen has already taken out two top four seeds. Other questions from this round: Will anyone get more than 20 percent against Heath Ledger's Joker? And who will come out on top when the two of the most successful trilogies of the decade face off?

Only eight performances from the decade remain. Vote early and often, voting ends on Wednesday, September 16 at noon PST.
