"The best revenge is massive success." -- Francis Albert "Frank" Sinatra

Just as I was going "suh-weet!" over the Frank Sinatra DVDs coming out in May from Warner Brothers, someone slipped this message from Turner Classic Movies under my dry martini:

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) is launching an extensive Web site in conjunction with the network's month-long tribute to Frank Sinatra, set to air in May. The Web site, located at tcm.com/sinatra, launches May 1 and will feature the TCM Mood Machine, an embeddable video widget that allows fans to listen to 14 Sinatra classics from movies airing during the festival and which they can place on their social-networking pages, blogs, and share with others. Also featured on the site will be over 100 exclusive video clips which include interviews with members of the Sinatra family, a downloadable schedule, a biographical profile of Sinatra, and sweepstakes opportunities to win Sinatra Party Packs.

TCM's May tribute to "Ol' Blue Eyes," which commemorates the 10th anniversary since his death, will showcase films and specials airing Sundays and Wednesdays throughout the month. The Wednesday presentations will be hosted by his children: Nancy Sinatra, Tina Sinatra and Frank Sinatra Jr. Among the films included in the May celebration are From Here to Eternity (1953), featuring Sinatra's Oscar-winning performance; the musicals Pal Joey (1957), On the Town (1949) and Anchors Aweigh (1945); the Rat Pack comedies Ocean's Eleven (1960) and Sergeants 3 (1962); and powerhouse dramas like The Man with the Golden Arm (1955), which earned him a second Oscar nomination, and The Manchurian Candidate (1962). Also included are four outstanding television specials, including Frank Sinatra: A Man and His Music (1965) and Frank Sinatra: A Man and His Music + Ella + Jobim (1967), the latter teaming him up with songstress Ella Fitzgerald and Brazilian songwriter Antonio Carlos Jobim.

The following are the elements featured on TCM's Frank Sinatra Web site:

The TCM Mood Machine features a skin that changes color and theme depending on the type of song played.
