The Bachelor 9: London Calling Umm, Have They Never Watched This Show Before?
Last night fifteen women were vying for twelve roses. Which ones impressed Matt?

Last night's Bachelor was pretty good. Matt is growing on me. I like him more every week. He seems really sweet, down-to-earth and has a good sense of humor. The Brit had his first lip-lock of the season and experienced his first female temper tantrum/meltdown. It always kills me when the ladies complain about having to share the Bachelor's time. Have they never seen the show before? If so, why complain? If not, why did they apply? Eight of the Bachelorettes were chosen for the first date. They got to be the models in a fashion show for Matt. I wonder how they choose who goes on what date, because I think the first group got screwed: the second group of seven got to gamble with someone else's money in Las Vegas. After each date, Matt took the group to a suite to spend more time with them. He had one early rose per date to give out, too. On the first date, Marshana took him aside to ask what she considered to be a very important question. She asked him his feelings about interracial dating and why he kept her. Matt gave her the perfect answer: he told her that her color never entered his mind and then listed the characteristics he saw in her that matter to him. I told you I was liking this guy, didn't I? Ashlee, the singer/songwriter, was given the rose on the first date and she asked for and got the first real kiss. That was all fine and dandy, but she had to ruin it by gloating about it to the other girls. I didn't like her last week, and like her even less now. He said she got the rose because she was the most forward. The second date was more fun. The females were given chips and sent to the roulette wheel. The one who ended up with the most chips at the end got a 30-minute date with Matt, and that ended up being Kelly. Shayne pouted and whined to Matt that he had 20 other girls wanting his time and asked him if he thought she was the type to be waiting in the wings. Chelsea really seemed to connect with him in the suite later and received the rose for that date. Shayne got upset again and tried to cause more drama. Matt was really turned off. He said that he really liked her, but not the drama. Later, at the cocktail party before the second Rose Ceremony, Shayne got some one-on-one time with Matt, and backtracked from her earlier tantrum and statements. Carrie sang an opera version of "Summertime" to him, and it really wasn't very good. The highlight of my night occurred when Kristine taught Matt to "Crank That Soulja Boy." All too soon it was time for the second Rose Ceremony. Three women were sent packing: Carri, Erin H. and Michelle were all eliminated. I guess Matt didn't like Carri's singing any more than I did. Shayne got the very last rose. I wonder if he was sending her a message? Next week on The Bachelor: London Calling, they go to Hollywood and get an opportunity to walk the red carpet. The women also play rugby and it looks like Marshana gets hurt. Who will shine, and who will go home? Catch y'all next week to find out. Most Popular Stories
