The cast of The CW's 90210 spinoff is here this morning, looking mostly bright-eyed after last night's CBS party at Hollywood hotspot Boulevard3. Although, it must be said that they're all still dressed to go out -- the girls are in cocktail dresses or tight jeans and heels -- even though it's barely 9 a.m.

The critics, meanwhile, mostly look a little bleary-eyed, like they just rolled out of bed. Typical, at this point in the tour, when we all start to get that caged-animal look in our eyes. Note to The CW: Blaring Kanye West into the ballroom at this hour isn't helping.

Happily, there's Jamba Juice in the ballroom lobby. I hear Nat from The Peach Pit is wandering around out there, too.

I had a chance to chat with cast members Tristan Wilds (who plays Brandon Walsh-equivalent Dixon Wilson) and AnnaLynne McCord (bad girl Naomi Clark) last night, and both raved about co-star Shenae Grimes (Dixon's sister, Annie Wilson).

"I just treat her like she's my little sister," said Tristan, who turned 19 last week. AnnaLynne, best known for her seductive role on FX's Nip/Tuck, told me Shenae reminds her of herself when she moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. They bonded instantly. In fact, Tristan said, the entire cast clicked: "It was like magic." Bo-ring!

Then again: "They'll start fighting for magazine covers soon," predicts Rob Estes, the Melrose Place alum who plays Annie and Dixon's father. The real-life father of two lives in Seattle and said he plans to commute to Los Angeles to film the show. At the party last night, he was eyeing former Melrose co-star Grant Show -- now starring on CBS' Swingtown -- whom he hadn't seen since the show ended. Mini-reunion!
