The Golden Globes red carpet was filled with the traditional black, vibrant white and splashes of color, but Hollywood's elite seemed to struggle this year. A lot of looks didn't quite come together. Ill-fitting dresses like Beyonce's and big, bad hair (Was Drew Barrymore drunk?) ruined one too many looks for us, but we rummaged through the red carpet, so you don't have to. Here's our list of the Golden Globe hits and misses: The Tops
For the best white dress of the night, Kate Beckinsale is our pick. The competition was tough, but her ruffled neckline and fishtail gown were total glamour. Eva Longoria Parker brightened things up in her red Reem Acra gown. Her dress was formfitting and sexy, but still sophisticated. Jennifer Lopez, are you watching? Olivia Wilde continues to impress us with her delicate, feminine gowns. She was a vision in lavender. We love to see cocktail length dresses on the red carpet just to mix things up. America Ferrera gave us a young, fresh look and her hair and makeup were flawless. Amy Adams wore our favorite black dress of the night. Her billowing Oscar de la Renta gown was old-school Hollywood and her green jewelry was a perfect complement to those red locks. The Flops
Ahoy matey! Marisa Tomei looked like a pirate wench in her ruffled sleeves, black skirt and medallion necklaces. Hey J.Lo, we get it -- you had twins last year and you still look hot. Spotted: Blake Lively with messy Serena hair and a too-tight dress. We had such high hopes for the Gossip Girl star but she broke our little hearts. We don't have any fashion expectations for Mickey Rourke, and it will remain that way thanks to his sequin scarf and velvet jacket. Renee Zellweger takes the prize for the night's red carpet disaster with her bouffant hairdo and bizarre, see-through, mismatched dress.
