Wed. 2/20 Big Brother Recap: A New Sheriff in Town
CBS
Posted by Ladytex Well, well, how the times will change in the Big Brother 9 house this week. The upstairs group is no longer in power. Does that mean that they are no longer the upstairs group? I don't know about that, but I do know that they are in trouble. Last night Adam, James and Joshua agreed that if any of them won Head of Household, Alex / Amanda would be the target. All the making up that Josh did was phony, he's still got a hate on for Amanda. The boy's club didn't include Chelsia in their discussion, but she and James are usually on the same page game wise. It seems that they promised Matt not to put them on the block this week, so I guess Allison and Ryan will be back up. But, of course, promises mean nothing in this game. This week should be interesting with Allison and Ryan. She's got the hots for him so bad and is so happy that Jen is gone. On the other hand, she's got this lie going that she's a lesbian. I didn't have to wait too long for for her to start, though. Not even 30 minutes after the live show, she was in the Storage Room telling Josh that the lesbian thing was a lie. That opens another can of worms. She threw Sheila under the bus, saying it was all her idea, for one. For another thing, it opens up trust issues. Josh immediately went to tell James and Chelsia and it was all about not trusting them anymore. He's so phony himself, though, that neither Allison nor Sheila are aware that he's upset about it. If he wasn't hating on Amanda so bad, he'd be gunning for one or the other of them this week. Sheila has enough on her plate to stress about. She went ballistic on Adam tonight about the Jen / Parker eviction vote. Good grief, girl, they are gone and their only allies are in hot water. She says that Adam set her up as the bad guy. She started screaming in his face, calling him dumb, being the condescending witch that she is. She is so convinced that she's running this show. It's gonna be in her best-selling book, you know. One time she already has a book deal, another time she's going to get the deal because of Big Brother. She steady yells at him that he has no class and that the people she hangs out with wouldn't even give him the time of day. Yes, Miss Penthouse Pet is yelling about class. What do y'all think about the rewards and consequences of the Head of Household competition? The women really got the short end of the stick. In addition to not having hot water for 72 hours or a washing machine for two weeks, they have to walk around in their bathing suits and also serve their guys dinner. I'm sorry, though, you can come up with makeshift workout equipment for two weeks instead of giving up the washer. And you can eat sandwiches and salads and protein drinks for 72 hours instead of giving up hot water. And where are the evicted houseguests going? Did y'all notice that Julie didn't mention The Early Show or Housecalls? Are they being sequestered? Is there another twist with one or both of them coming back? Curious minds want to know. Anyway, this will certainly be a different week on Big Brother 9. I'm still not entirely sure of the schedule yet. I don't know if they will do nominations on Thursday this season or keep them on Friday. It'll be interesting to see if they also have a food competition this week, too. I'll be back later this week as information becomes available. Catch y'all later ... Got a question? Ask Big Brother Here. Your question may be read on the air on CBS's Housecalls!
