Big Brother 3/23 Recap: Guinea Pigs Rule!
CBS
Posted by HamsterDame Oh. My. Goodness. Was tonight's show great or what? I'm still cracking up. I have to hand it to whoever came up with the guinea pig segment tonight. By far, that was the funniest thing I've seen on this show so far this season. Seriously! That segment will be one of those that goes down in Big Brother show history. The segment started out with Sharon talking to her beeeebeeeees in that awfully annoying voice she uses while Josh rolls his eyes at her from the kitchen table. In the Diary Room, he makes fun of her voice and the way she says "babies" and points out that they can't understand what she's saying. He ends it with pretending to shoot himself in the head. Then we have Sharon in the Diary Room telling us that she feeds the guinea pigs before she even feeds herself in the morning. Even Adam had a chance to get in on the fun in the Diary Room by making fun of the way she called them her furr-iends. And then we had the piece de resistance. The guinea pigs had their own Diary Room session!!! Big Brother actually took them out of their cage at some point to sit them on the mini couch in the Diary Room for what has turned out to be a glorious occasion. BB even made up a little conversation between the guinea pigs just for us. One guinea pig said, "Sharon needs to go on the block this week for sure." The other guinea pig said, "Yeah, she's crazy!" I can't stop laughing!!! Then Big Brother gave us another shot of them in the DR saying, "Furr-iends my tail." I'm not lying when I say I can't stop laughing. I think I need a tranquilizer or something! Another great part of tonight's show was when we saw Adam get his HOH room. I was clueless about what was coming next. Adam got baby food in his HOH basket! Gerber's Peach Cobbler to be specific. And you know how the HOH usually gets some beer or other goodies in their mini fridge? Well, there was more baby food in there! How old is this man? He said in the Diary Room that he really needs to talk to his Mommy about this because she didn't do a good job with what he wanted. Oh so precious Natalie tried to save the day by saying she hoped he shared his baby food with her but the damage had been done as far as I was concerned. How freaking weird is that? He will never, and I mean never, live this down. We also saw the luxury competition on tonight's episode. The competition wasn't that exciting itself. They played a Big Brother version of blackjack in the backyard with the hopes of winning a movie pass for themself and three others to see the movie 21 in the house. Ryan won the competition and chose Adam, Natalie, and James to watch the movie with him. But then Big Brother gave him a chance to win a VIP three-night trip for two to the Planet Hollywood resort in Las Vegas. All he had to do was beat the house in one hand of blackjack. I can't blame him for going for it because I would have, but he lost. So besides losing the movie passes for himself and the people he'd chosen to give them to, he also lost a nice trip to Vegas. It would be the other four watching the movie instead. The rest of the show was business as usual. We had the typical reactions after the eviction (Natalie swearing to avenge Matt's eviction), the HOH competition (Adam was bummed because he didn't want to win it), and the nominations (Natalie saying they shouldn't mess with her and Mattie because this is payback). I did love how Adam chose Sheila's key to be pulled last. That woman was sweating bullets! And I couldn't believe how much talking Natalie had to do to convince Adam that putting up Sheila wasn't a good move for him. That man really is a dolt. We, the viewers, also have a chance to have an impact on the next HOH competition. Click here to go answer the poll questions they have up if you feel so inclined. Seems the hamsters are going to have to try and guess how America has voted to win HOH on Wednesday evening. What did you think about the show? Are you as proud of Natalie as I am concerning her counting to 8? Does seeing the smaller table make you realize, as a viewer, that the show is in its home stretch? And please tell me you loved the guinea pig segment as much as I did! In case you missed it, the video is right below this. I've watched it over and over and over and over. It gets funnier every time! Got a question? Ask Big Brother Here. Your question may be read on the air on CBS's Housecalls! Comments
