Canadian actor Tyler Labine carved out a 15-year career playing a variety of boisterous, garrulous and comic roles on film and television for both sides of the North American border. His most popular variation on that persona was for the science fiction series, “Invasion” (ABC, 2005- ), in which he played Dave Groves, a conspiracy theorist who discovers that his concerns about an alien takeover are not as far-fetched as others might think.
