Talented juvenile lead of numerous Walt Disney film and TV productions of the late 1950s and early 60s. Never a conventional pretty boy, Kirk specialized in playing wholesome, polite, and often put-upon boy-next-door types. He was a recurring performer on Disney's epochal 1950s TV show "The Mickey Mouse Club". In 1957, he and Tim Considine charmed an impressionable young nation as the Hardy Boys. Kirk was Frank, Considine was Joe, and the two young amateur sleuths unraveled mysteries in two serialized adventures: "The Hardy Boys and the Mystery of the Applegate Treasure" and "The Hardy Boys Continued
