In the writers' room and in front of the camera, Tina Fey keeps us laughing every week, and she continues to rack up awards to prove it. Fashion may not be the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Tina Fey -- she's finding her way on the red carpet -- but we still love her casual, confident style.

If I'm dissecting the look of Tina Fey, I can't take one step further without stating the obvious. The horn-rimmed glasses are her trademark and a trend that she's responsible for. If you own a pair, you know you can't walk ten feet without someone commenting on your wannabe Tina Fey glasses -- even if you owned them before she showed up on Weekend Update.

When she's not sexed-up for a magazine shoot or glamorized for an awards show, Tina is your average woman-on-the-street New Yorker. As 30 Rock's Liz Lemon, Tina gives us clues as to how she prefers to dress -- casual jeans and a basic top. Like all smart New Yorkers, Tina favors wearing black, especially for black tie events. She doesn't need bold colors or flashy accents to command attention; her quick wit takes care of that. From strapless and princess to one-shouldered or scoop, she looks confident in any style, even an uncharacteristic plunging neckline. She's even begun branching out with colors like plum and brown.

But the truth is, we love Tina most in her jeans, a sweater and glasses -- and we're eternally grateful to her for proving goofballs can be glamorous, and smart is sexy.
