This very busy, high-energy film producer was already winning awards for photography while attending high school in her native Los Angeles. After completing graduate studies in London, Schwartz made several films with Roger Corman's New World Pictures, first as assistant director then eventually as producer, including "Candy Stripe Nurses" (1974), "Eat My Dust" (1976) and "The Bees" (released 1978. After leaving Corman, Schwartz started her own rock video company, producing videos for Barbra Streisand ("Left in the Dark"), Kris Kristofferson and Roger Daltry, among others. She also became an
