Methodical in his approach to a story, Steve Kroft is the youngest of the reporters on "60 Minutes", the venerable magazine format news show he joined in 1989. Kroft began his career in TV reportage with WSYR-TV in Syracuse, NY in 1972 and later worked at CBS affiliate WJXT-TV from 1975-77 in Jacksonville, Florida. He has covered myriad events and issues in his tenure at CBS, from the war in El Salvador to the assassination of Indira Gandhi. But he is perhaps best recalled for his 1992 interview with then candidate Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary Rodham Clinton after allegations of Clinton's
