Lithe Native American actor who first met director Sam Shephard while playing Maggie Eagle Bear in Michael Apted's "Thunderheart" (1992). Tousey went on to star in Shephard's "Silent Tongue" (1993) as the ghost of River Phoenix's dead wife and as her twin sister.
