This rising director has worked in many mediums: TV, film, live action, animation, fiction and documentary. The California native was making short films by the time he was ten years old; he spent his high school years journeying through Ceylon and Sri Lanka, where he made a film on an indigenous tribe. After an unhappy stint in medical school, Underwood returned to his true calling, taking film courses at USC.
