This lead singer with British pop group The Fine Young Cannibals performed their songs especially the hit, "You Drive Me Crazy" in such films as "A Letter to Brezhnev" (1985), "Something Wild" (1986) and "Tin Men" (1987). Gift made his screen debut as an actor playing Danny in Stephen Frears' film "Sammy and Rosie Get Laid" (1987) and subsequently played Christine Keeler's jealous boyfriend in "Scandal" (1990).
