In her first interview since the Chris Brown Incident, Rihanna tells Diane Sawyer that Brown was her first big love -- which quickly went wrong.

"The more in love we became, the more dangerous we became for each other," says Rihanna, speaking nine months after Brown beat her the night before the Grammy Awards. "This happened to me ... it can happen to anyone."

Brown was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to attend domestic violence counseling in August. But he has yet to display any convincing remorse, having been photographed jet-skiing and partying at clubs shortly following the scandal.

Rihanna says she was humiliated by a photo that surfaced online after the attack, showing her face bloodied and bruised. "That is not a photo you would show to anybody," she says. "I felt completely taken advantage of. I felt like people were making it into a fun topic on the Internet, and it's my life."

The interview will air Thursday on ABC's Good Morning America and Friday on 20/20.
