Name: Rachel McAdams

You've Seen Her In:
Wedding Crashers, The Notebook, Mean Girls

Pros:
Everybody knows she's one of the real contenders to take the Julia Roberts title belt. A slew of interesting projects in the pipeline (State of Play, The Time Traveler's Wife and Sherlock Holmes) make me wonder if she's getting closer to being the next big thing.

Cons:
She's been labeled the Next Big Thing since The Notebook came out ... five years ago. She's like the Greg Oden of the movie actress world. Enormous potential, but needs to stay healthy.

Box-Office Bonafides
1. Wedding Crashers -- $285m
2. Mean Girls -- $129m
3. The Notebook -- $116m

Accolades
The Notebook -- MTV Best Kiss
