A tall, light haired, blue-eyed leading man, Peter Bergman is best known for two stalwart roles in daytime drama: Dr. Cliff Warner on "All My Children" (ABC), which he played from 1979 to 1989; and Jack Abbott on "The Young and the Restless" (CBS, 1989- ), for which he has won two Daytime Emmy Awards.Raised in a Navy family, Bergman was born in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and had a peripatetic childhood before spending the bulk of his youth in New York state.
