Mischa Barton seems to be spending more time in the design arena than on her acting career these days. The former O.C. starlet has already created a line of headbands with designer Stacey Lapidus, and now she's starting an online store to sell her handbags.
Her collection, which launched last year, is sold at stores throughout the U.K. and Australia, but Mischa is expanding her design reach with the web site. The collection consists of 34 styles, including drawstring purses, clutches and hobo bags. Most of the designs are vintage inspired and made of materials like snake skin, patent, pearlized leather and tapestry.
The new spring/summer 2009 collection features bright white, blue, purple and orange, while the fall collection's brown, gray and silver bags are heavily discounted. Prices range from approximately $30 to $280.
