Miley Cyrus isn't the smartest girl in the world, but her corporate inventors sure are. Her TV show and new blockbuster, Hannah Montana: The Movie have the killer premise of all time: an ordinary brunette tween is secretly a blonde pop titan, sharing with her viewers all their problems and living their dream of being rich and famous and loved by the universe.

Now Miley is the empress of a billion-dollar business, with plenty more billions to grab from the quarter-trillion-dollar tweener market. More important, she's grabbed the hearts of world girldom, and why not? Why should boys have all the secret identitites and superhero perks? Like she sings, "Life Is What You Make It."

We toast America's most stellar down-to-earth kid with our Film.com Fever Chart, which documents the highs and lows of our favorite celebrities. If you think we've left out any highs (or lows), sound off loud in the comments section below!

At age 2, Destiny Hope Cyrus (named after her folks' fervent belief in her stardom, since her dad's achy heart broke after his star descended) makes her singing debut onstage with daddy Billy Ray, on tunes like "Hound Dog." Temperature: 98.6 degrees

Breaks into big-budget movies in a bit part as 8-year-old Ruthie in Tim Burton's 2003 Big Fish. In her real Tennessee accent, she primly rebukes the older boys who say words like bitch, damn, sh*t, and screw: "You shouldn't swear, there's ladies present." Being the nice girl starts to pay off. Temperature: 99.8 degrees

Buys Lizzie McGuire star Hilary Duff's first album. Says, "Mom, this is what I want for Christmas." Not just the album -- the career. Temperature: 98.6 degrees

Spends four years competing at the national cheerleaders' championships as one of the Premier Tennessee All-Stars. "The training is pretty harsh," she says, "but it's so worth it once you're on stage and getting trophies." Temperature: 98.7 degrees

Auditions to play the sidekick character (eventually played by The Sixth Sense has-been star Haley Joel Osment's sister Emily) on Hannah Montana. Is brushed off for being too pint-sized and young. Temperature: 10.6 degrees

Offers to fly herself back out to Hollywood to audition again. Offer is accepted. Temperature: 100 degrees

Gets rejected again. Temperature: 5 degrees

Gets the gig at last, the starring double role. March 2006 debut breaks all Disney Channel records with 5.4 million viewers. Temperature: 110 degrees

Dentist tells her she needs braces. Compromises by getting buttresses inside her teeth, not unlike Notre Dame Cathedral. Temperature: 111 degrees

Her kid sister Noah, 6, enters a Disney contest to win a backstage pass to Miley's concert. Miley orders her not to sell stuff from her bedroom on eBay. Temperature: 120 degrees

Has a fight with her daddy costar over her credit card abuse. To her horror, realizes she has to ride with him glowering at her for 45 minutes in the limo on the way to work. Temperature: 98.6 degrees

Hannah Montana soundtrack hits number one. Since costar daddy Billy Ray is also on it, his achy heart unbreaks overnight. Temperature: 138.6 degrees

Tours with the Jonas Brothers, lets Nick sweep her off her feet. Denies it vociferously. "We're just really good buds." Temperature: 139.6 degrees

Snaps naughty pictures of herself in scanties for Nick's erotic entertainment. A nefarious fan in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, hacks into her MySpace page, posts them on the internet, idiotically brags about it, gets busted by the FBI. Miley gets busted by the public -- but girl fans only envy her more, swelling her fame. Temperature: 145 degrees

Confesses to a teen magazine that she makes jokes about zits in an article called "Miley's Gross Habits." A nefarious fan alters the article to include Miley's confession that she's pregnant and (worse) "gained seven pounds." The fake article is illiterately rife with spelling and grammar errors. Strangely, Miley's fans don't notice. Girl blogs go wild. Temperature: 145.1 degrees

Second Hannah Montana album makes the first look like a piker. Temperature: 155 degrees

Ends two-year affair with Jonas brother, confesses at last that it happened. Cries for a month, dyes hair black because Nick liked highlights. "I don't want to look pretty; I want to look hard-core. I was rebelling against everything Nick wanted me to be. And then I was like, I've got to be by myself for now, and just figure out who I really am." Girls love this. Temperature: 159 degrees

Does Vanity Fair shoot with Annie Leibovitz, who's famous for talking celebs out of their clothes. Keeps clothes on, but gives come-hither looks under skimpy satin bedsheets. "Don't give me the line about it being art," snaps conservative pundit Lori Borgman. "It's soft porn." Miley lamely claims VF exploited her. Temperature: 54 degrees

Hannah Montana concert tour movie grosses $30 million in a weekend, even though tickets cost 50 percent more than other movies. Temperature: 160 degrees

Is asked what her favorite classical composer is. Thinks hard, then says, "I got to admit I am not really up on that kind of stuff. I am going through, like, my media training in my head and I don't really know any." Temperature: 44 degrees

Falls for underwear model Justin Gaston, who makes her read the Bible and color her own hair for $8 instead of paying $800 to have it done. Licks lips lasciviously as Justin struts down the runway. "I've never been closer to the Lord since I met him," says Miley. Claims to be a virgin. (Yeah, Tyra Banks told me the same thing when she dated John Singleton.) Temperature: 161 degrees

In the animated hit Bolt, plays Penny, the owner of a dog who's the only one in his circle unaware that he is not a superpowered superhero and that his whole life is a fictitious TV show. But Miley does have superpowers (except possibly when tempted by Justin). Temperature: 164 degrees

Fans are disillusioned when Miley uses a double onstage in a concert. "It takes me an hour and a half to go from Hannah to Miley [on the show]," she protests. The stage double was onstage for about a minute. But that minute cost her cred. Temperature: 159 degrees

Cindy Crawford forbids her daughter to watch Miley's show because it teaches her to be "sassy." "I don't let anyone talk to me like that. I'll certainly not take it from a 7-year-old in my own house." Miley's fans ask, "Who's Cindy Crawford?" Temperature: 160 degrees

Says she wants to star in a Sex and the City-style show for teens. Temperature: 166 degrees

Makes God-knows-how-many more millions from Hannah Montana: The Movie. (Maybe God will tell Justin, who'll tell her.) Temperature: 200 degrees

Agrees to star in a film by Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook, Nights in Rodanthe). Says, "I want to work behind the camera as well as in front of it. I would like to direct." All the film critics in America not yet fired consider mass suicide. Temperature: 298.6 degrees
