biography

Former British journalist best known for his West End satirical farces such as "A Bit Between the Teeth", "She's Done It Again" and "Don't Just Lie There, Say Something" (which was later filmed). Pertwee wrote the screenplays for "Laughter in Paradise" (1951), "Mouse on the Moon" (1963) and the adaptation of "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" (1966) with Melvin Frank.
