biography
Best known for the erotic title sequences of the James Bond films, Binder also was responsible for the witty design introducing "The Mouse That Roared" (1959), the haunting, vertiginous opening of Roman Polanski's "Repulsion" (1964) and the main title design for "The Last Emperor" (1989). Binder worked primarily in England and on the continent.
