Beautiful, promising young French lead, a former ballet dancer, who has starred in films by Tobe Hooper ("Lifeforce" 1985) and Claude Chabrol ("Le Cri du hibou" 1987) and Werner Herzog ("Schrei aus Stein/Scream in Stone" 1991). May portrayed Edith Piaf in Jacques Demy's final film "Trois places pour le 26" (1988) and the young Colette in Danny Huston's "Becoming Colette" (1991).
