Rihanna's not the only songstress coming clean about an abusive relationship this week.

As Rihanna draws headlines for her silence-breaking interview with Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America, Mariah Carey is revealing that she has also been the victim of an abusive relationship. The singer told Larry King Wednesday that she felt trapped by a mentally and emotionally abusive ex.

Though she didn't name names, speculation points to Carey's first husband, music mogul Tommy Mottola. It's no secret that Carey, who was just starting her career when she married Mottola, found him to be controlling during their five year marriage.

In fact, when asked about Rihanna, who was beaten by then-boyfriend Chris Brown the night before the Grammy Awards, Carey replied: "I was very sequestered when I first started out. ... I wasn't really allowed out of the house, so I can't imagine what she went through."
