This Mexican-born actress never became as well-known for her onscreen roles as she did for her off-screen escapades. The daughter of a petroleum engineer, Christian grew up in Venezuela, South Africa, Holland, Switzerland and Palestine. By the mid-1940s she was working as a model for Lilly Dache and actor Errol Flynn urged her to try Hollywood. Christian was put under contract by MGM in 1946, but she only had small roles in two films for that company: "Holiday in Mexico" (1946) and "Green Dolphin Street" (1947).
