Pamela Sitt, Aug 05, 2009 Leighton Meester may play a bad girl on TV, but she says she's nothing like her character Blair Waldorf in real life.

In a new interview, the Gossip Girl star addresses rumors of a sex tape that have dogged her since June. The tape, supposedly shot a few years ago, was reportedly being shopped online.

The tape "is not real," Meester says in the September issue of Harper's Bazaar, which features her on the cover. "So it makes me sort of sad. It's unfortunate that it got carried as far as it did."

Meester is dating Gossip Girl co-star Sebastian Stan.
