Lauren Conrad must be looking for projects to fill her time once her run on The Hills ends. The "celebrity designer" is partnering with department store chain Kohl's for a line of clothing described as California casual.

The line will hit stores in October and range in price from $20 to $80, which is far more acceptable than the exorbitantly priced jersey dresses that make up the Lauren Conrad Collection. If all goes according to plan, the line may expand to include footwear, jewelry, handbags, intimates, and sleepwear, which means Lauren Conrad probably isn't fading into obscurity any time soon.
