I am hard-pressed to find a celebrity that exudes more self-confidence, natural beauty, and effortless style than Kate Hudson. Daughter of fashion icon and funny girl Goldie Hawn, it's clear Kate inherited all of her mother's free-spirited and vivacious genes. With My Best Friend's Girl out in theaters, the starlet once again brings her charm to the big screen, which is why we're taking a look at Kate Hudson's Essential Style. Kate's look could be labeled boho chic, but it is most often of the understated and casual kind. Whether dressing down in long flared jeans and a loose top or up in layers of colorful, floral-printed chiffon, Kate lets her long wavy hair flow and holds back on the makeup. When asked about her style, Kate has nonchalantly described pulling clothes from off the floor and wearing whatever she wants whenever she wants. This California girl's signature looks range from loose, long dresses to jeans and a tank to anything short that shows off her killer legs. When it comes to accessories, Kate usually sports large sunglasses, layered chain necklaces and cuff bracelets. She is often spotted wearing nudes and naturals, black or bright yellow, which all help her accentuate that glowing smile. It all comes down to attitude. Like her mother, Kate has a cheery disposition and exuberant personality that are far more attractive than the clothes could ever be. So if you are trying to pull off the boho look like Kate, look for sweeping dresses, floral patterns, muted colors, a great pair of flared jeans, and don't forget to smile!
