John Travolta and Kelly Preston have returned to Florida with the remains of their 16-year-old son, Jett.

The couple received an urn with his ashes and left the Bahamas on Monday night, according to Obie Wilchcombe, a member of the Bahamas parliament and a family friend. He said the family is now in Ocala, Florida, where they have a home.

Doctors conducted an autopsy on Monday in the Bahamas. According to an official at a local funeral home, Jett's death certificate says he was killed by a "seizure." Jett Travolta's body is now en route for burial in Ocala, Florida.

Jett Travolta, the 16-year-old son of John Travolta and Kelly Preston, has died in the Bahamas where he was vacationing with his parents. Travolta has previously stated that Jett suffered from Kawasaki Syndrome, a condition which can lead to heart disease.

According to TMZ, Travolta's attorney Michael Ossi says Jett suffered a seizure at his family's vacation home on Grand Bahama Island. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful, and he died on the scene.

Police spokesperson Loretta Mackey has said that Jett hit his head on the bathtub and a caretaker named Jeff Michael Kathrain found Jett unconscious in the bathroom around 10 a.m. today. An autopsy will be performed at Rand Memorial Hospital.

Travolta and Preston are also parents to Ella Blue, 8.
