Pudgy, spry performer who first came to the attention of network viewers as the ne'er-do-well millionaire's son Norris Weldon on short-lived sitcom "Grand" (1991-92). Murray brought the same affability to the role of Ray Litvak, the self-deprecating sanitation worker and Blue Shamrock regular, the restaurant setting of the CBS sitcom "Love & War" (1992-95). Murray's character Ray was still a virgin at 30, and often had the show's female regulars diplomatically fending off his romantic overtures. Murray made his professional performing debut with The Harold improvisational troupe in Chicago
