While other celebrities were busily getting engaged over the holidays, Jennifer Love Hewitt and her fiance have called it quits.
The Ghost Whisperer star was engaged to actor Ross McCall in November 2007 after dating for about two years. In 2008, she publicly praised him for being supportive and loving after unflattering bikini shots of Hewitt turned up online.
Hewitt appeared on the cover of Us Magazine in October flaunting a slimmer frame, which she credited to working out in order to get in shape for her wedding.
In other celebrity engagement news, Medium star Patricia Arquette has split from husband Thomas Jane after two years of marriage. Meantime, Alyssa Milano has publicly announced her engagement to Hollywood agent David Bugliari.
