Jennifer Aniston graces the December cover of Vogue looking lovely in a gorgeous red dress, but it's what's inside the issue that already has people talking. The actress shares some details with reporter Jonathan Van Meeter about her split from Brad Pitt, her reaction to Angelina Jolie's public declarations and her new romance with John Mayer.

The former Friends star explains that she was bothered over the timeline of Angelina and Brad's relationship, which began on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith -- details which Angelina shared in a 2006 interview with Vogue also conducted by Van Meeter. "There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening. I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss." She continues, "That stuff about how she couldn't wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool."

When asked if she ever speaks to Pitt, Aniston explained that they have exchanged "a few very kind hellos ... and congratulations on your babies." Aniston makes clear that the two had an "amicable split":

"It wasn't mean and hateful and all of this stuff that they tried to create about Brad can't talk to Jen and Jen can't talk to Brad because this person won't allow it. It just didn't happen. The marriage didn't work out. And pretty soon after we separated, we got on the phone and we had a long, long conversation with each other and said a lot of things, and ever since we've been unbelievably warm and respectful of each other."

She also offers the tiniest bit of insight on her on-again, off-again relationship with John Mayer, saying, "People need to mind their own business! Did you ever think Claudia Schiffer and David Copperfield made sense? Love just shows up." When asked about John Mayer publicly discussing dumping her, Aniston said, "Trust me, you'll never see that happen again from that man."

The December issue of Vogue hits newsstands on November 19.
