Handsome, sandy-haired actor Jay R. Ferguson has seen frequent ups and downs in his relatively short career, starting when he was auspiciously cast as Ponyboy, the idealistic, sweet-faced lead of "The Outsiders", a 1990 Fox series based on the hit S.E.
