Familiar to fans of imported British drama series, actress Janet McTeer was often seen playing take-charge women in such diverse offerings as “The Amazing Mrs. Pritchard” (BBC1, 2006), “Five Days” (BBC1, 2007), and “Into the Storm” (HBO, 2009).
