A durable, heavy-set character player, often cast as bumbling bad guys, Weston made his stage and TV debuts in 1950 and appeared in a number of stage comedies. His memorable film roles include "Mirage" (1965), "Wait Until Dark" (1967), as one of Audrey Hepburn's tormentors, Alan Alda's "The Four Seasons" (1981), as a neurotic dentist and "Dirty Dancing" (1987), as the resort owner.
